"This is a very important project for us. We share the same entrepreneurial spirit and a strong culture of engineering and managed security services, with a personal and direct commitment to our clients. We are fully convinced that the combination of our respective strengths is the best way to offer the most comprehensive and advanced expertise in the German market.”
Théodore Vrangos
Co-Founder and President of I-TRACING
Approach
Systematic add-on process through the identification, approach, and qualification of relevant market players in the cybersecurity services sector across the DACH region. In total, 70 companies were contacted, and more in-depth discussions were held with around 20 targets. Ultimately, doIT Solutions proved to be the perfect fit for I-Tracing’s expansion in Germany.
Challenges
doIT was initially not actionable, as the target was focused on its own development and not ready for M&A discussions. Walther Transaction maintained contact over a period of two years and eventually convinced the seller to meet with I-Tracing. It quickly became clear to both sides that a partnership would create significant value for each of them. Walther Transaction’s excellent relationship with the seller was a key success factor in closing the transaction.
Results
This is an important milestone for I-Tracing, establishing itself in Europe's third-largest cyber market alongside France and the UK. The management team remains invested and in operational leadership to drive further development together with I-TRACING.
